NEW LAW ALLOWS FOR OUT OF STATE DRIVER LICENSE SUSPENSION WHEN FINE AND COURT COSTS ARE NOT PAID AND IN STATE HOLDS.
Your traffic summons requires you to appear in person before the Municipal Judge in Pineville, MO on the date written at the top of your ticket. If your violation is listed below and you wish to plead guilty without coming to court, follow these steps:
- Sign your name to the “Appearance, Plea, and Waiver” on the back of the ticket, and
- Bring or mail your signed ticket and a cashier’s check or money order, made payable to “Pineville Municipal Division” to:

Note: If you want a receipt for proof of payment, send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.
PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
- You must appear if required by the issuing officer. A warrant will be issued for your arrest if you fail to appear in court.
- If you posted your driver’s license in lieu of bond, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your fine and court costs and your license will be sent back to you.
Court cost of $29.50 is assessed at the time of stop not during court. The fine listed below is what is due. If not paid in full, you will need to appear on your court date.

License in Lieu of Bail For the above listed offenses, and at the discretion of the officer, the valid operator’s license may be deposited in lieu of bail, unless the operator of the vehicle does not wish to “deposit” the license as security, in which case a bond is required.
EXCEPTIONS If charged with the offense of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor of Drugs, Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, Driving when License is Suspended or Revoked, or for any charge made because of a motor vehicle accident in which a death has occurred, the bond amount shall be set as otherwise provided by law. The operator’s license cannot be substituted in these cases.
